Nóra Woulfe, IT Manager and Legal Assistant, joined the law firm of Ridge & Downes in June 2002. She holds a B.A. from DePaul University and a M.A. from Yale University.

While at DePaul, Nóra was an active member of the William Ferris Chorale, as both a chorale singer and soloist from 1978 – 81.  On October 5, 1979, Nora sang for Pope John Paul II at Holy Name Cathedral with Luciano Pavarotti and Chicago Lyric Opera’s Tenor, Frank Little.  Nóra received a scholarship to attend Yale University School of Music, where she obtained her master’s degree in 1982.  Nóra remained in Connecticut for 11-years, where she was an adjunct professor and Director of Chorale at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut for two years.  
 
In 1984, Nóra began working with the Homeless & Mentally Ill in New Haven Connecticut, and soon found herself in a different career.  She was promoted from Overnight Staff to House Manager.  In 1990, Nóra moved back to Chicago, in the position of Manager of Chicago Health Outreach, Inc.’s Mental Health Department.  In 1996, while at Chicago Health Outreach, Nóra co-authored a five-year federal research grant entitled, ACCESS, wherein she secured a $10,000,000.00 grant for the State of Illinois.  Illinois was one of 9 states awarded this federal grant. Nóra was asked to oversee ACCESS at the State Level.  Following the conclusion of this research grant, Nóra left the mental health field and became a Legal Assistant at Ridge & Downes.  She was promoted to be and IT Manager as a secondary role at the firm.  Throughout her tenure at Ridge & Downes, Nóra has supported numerous attorneys.  Currently, she is the Legal Assistant to James M. Ridge (Owner), Brian Driscoll (Associate Attorney) and is assistant to the Office Manager, Mayra Rios.  As IT Manager, Nóra oversees all voice/data matters, equipment orders, maintenance, and repairs, manages all subcontract technology services, and researches and oversees all new equipment purchases. She oversees the website and other social media post and graphic designs.
 
Nóra met her husband at the World Cup in 1994 (Ireland vs. Italy) and was married in County Tipperary, Ireland.  Nóra currently resides in Chicago with her husband and their Boston terrier, Roísín.
