Nóra Woulfe
Nóra Woulfe is the IT Manager and Legal Assistant at Ridge & Downes, a law firm she joined in June 2002. She has a B.A. degree from DePaul University and a M.A. degree from Yale University.

Nóra has a passion for music and singing. She was a part of the William Ferris Chorale while studying at DePaul, where she sang as a chorale singer and soloist from 1978 to 1981. She had the honor of singing for Pope John Paul II at Holy Name Cathedral with Luciano Pavarotti and Frank Little, a tenor from Chicago Lyric Opera, on October 5, 1979. She earned a scholarship to study at Yale University School of Music, where she completed her master's degree in 1982. She stayed in Connecticut for 11 years, working as an adjunct professor and Director of Chorale at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut for two years.
Nóra's career path has been diverse and impactful. She started working with the Homeless & Mentally Ill in New Haven Connecticut in 1984, where she rose from Overnight Staff to House Manager. She returned to Chicago in 1990 as the Manager of Chicago Health Outreach, Inc.’s Mental Health Department. She also co-authored a five-year federal research grant called ACCESS, which brought $10,000,000.00 to Illinois, one of the nine states that received this grant. Nóra was in charge of ACCESS at the State Level. After the grant ended, Nóra switched to the legal field and joined Ridge & Downes as a Legal Assistant. She also became an IT Manager at the firm, handling various tasks such as voice/data matters, equipment orders and repairs, subcontract technology services, and new equipment purchases. She also manages the website and other social media post and graphic designs. Nóra currently supports several attorneys at Ridge & Downes, including James M. Ridge (Owner) and Brian Driscoll (Associate Attorney). She also assists the Office Manager, Mayra Rios.
Nóra met her husband at the World Cup in 1994 (Ireland vs. Italy) and was married in County Tipperary, Ireland. Nóra currently resides in Chicago with her husband and their Boston terrier, Roísín.
