Last week, we advised that the Courts, including the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission had enacted closures, except in emergency circumstances.
We wanted to update our clients and friends that the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission has extended its closure through April 30. The Commission will continue to conduct Emergency Motion Calls only in 6 locations throughout the State of Illinois.
Many other Courts have also postponed proceedings in civil matters through mid-April. If you have an inquiry about the status of a particular jurisdiction, please contact us.
