Laborer Receives Settlement for Meniscus Tear

31-year-old laborer was injured in a work related accident on 9/9/2010. He was walking on a building site when he twisted his knee and felt immediate pain and discomfort. He was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and surgery was recommended. An arthroscopic partial meniscectomy was performed and the Petitioner was off work from the date of the accident until 2/7/2011.


The case settled for $34,929.14, which represents 22.5% of the leg.
